In partnership with Fenton Communications and with support by California state funding to the Chef Ann Foundation, we developed a creative vision for a statewide campaign to highlight the efforts of school districts across the state in support of the preparation of healthy school meals and encourage the school food and nutrition industry as a viable career path for culinary professionals. The campaign was designed to highlight the talent and skills training available to school food professionals and celebrate the efforts already being made to return scratch cooking to schools. Fenton led a branding, naming and messaging development process and Owl Bridge Media led video strategy, production and media fulfilment. Services included: video strategy, video production, drone videography, photography, and project management.
Our teams developed all of the creative assets featuring local community members and school food professionals. To source relevant and relatable subjects for the campaign, we joined the Chef Ann Foundation network on the ground, filming and producing dozens of videos of school food professionals in cooking and administrative roles. This process began with a video strategy including mood boards and development samples. Creating all visual elements and editing testing styles before visiting the field so all parties were empowered to make collaborative creative choices. Our team visited 11 school and central kitchens sites, conducting interviews and capturing engaging food service content along the way.
The post production work was done remotely in multiple locations to increase our speed to market and ensure that the campaign was responding to market reactions in real time.
